Dangerous Influenza Virus

influenza viruses including avian, swine, horses and dogs, influenza virus and human influenza viruses. According to doctors, influenza viruses are classified into subtypes based on two surface antigens, hemagglutin antigen (H) and neuraminidase (N) protein. There are 16 hemagglutin antigens (H1 to H16) and nine neuraminidase antigens (N1 to N9). These two proteins are involved in cell attachment and release from the cells and are also prime targets for the immune response. Only a limited subtypes in each species of mammals.

By the nature of the influenza virus is dangerous, which is much more dangerous than the usual aches and fever lead people to believe, but it does not kill me, as is routinely done in 1918. 1918 pandemic has reached the extreme virulence is unknown in any other widespread flu in history.

prevention

the most effective way to prevent flu and complications is to protect the people of all age groups at highest risk for complications. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), states that the measures currently available for preventing or reducing the impact of flu (1) parenteral vaccination with inactivated vaccine, and influenza A, (2) orally by one of the antiviral drug, amantadine or remantadine.

influenza virus vaccine, killed virus vaccine prepared from viruses grown in embryonated hen's eggs, advocated by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for use in patients susceptible to severe influenza.

treatment of

In patients at significant risk for developing complications of influenza, use of antiviral drugs may reduce morbidity and mortality. Until recently, Theraphy for the flu are usually involved in the use of amantadine or rimantadine, antiviral drugs active againts influenza A. The majority of studies examining the effectiveness of these drugs showed a reduction in clinical symptom scores, the faster resolution of fever, a reduction in the level and duration of viral shedding compared with placebo.
