Early HIV Symptoms and AIDS

Despite increased awareness about HIV, AIDS and the risk of unprotected sex, many people do not know what the early symptoms of HIV. Although the chances of contracting the virus is still relatively low, it is important to be aware of possible symptoms, especially if you recently had sex without a condom.

However, part of the problem is that about a third of people who contract the virus will not show any early symptoms at all. In fact, many people living with HIV for years without knowing they are infected. Of course, the earlier the infection is diagnosed HIV test, the better the chance of a cure.

What do HIV in the body?

HIV is a virus that, in its advanced form, it can lead to a state of terminal AIDS (Adapted immune deficiency virus). Symptoms Early After Infection - Acute HIV - In emergency departments and family practice offices, people come in with symptoms such as fever, headache, muscle aches and joint pain, sore throat, rash and diarrhea. In response to these symptoms, doctors diagnose flu and send the patient on the road. In most cases, their diagnosis proves correct. But unfortunately, many people with these vague, vague symptoms are more severe illness than the flu, these symptoms may signal the acute phase of HIV infection.
Early signs to look out for:

Early stage HIV can share many of the same symptoms as common conditions (such as flu or glandular fever). The key is to work out whether you are experiencing any of the following symptoms after a recent unprotected sexual intercourse:

• Sore and dry throat
• Headache and high temperature
• Feeling of fatigue and no energy
• pain in joints, muscles and lower back
• feeling nauseous and have a low appetite
• swollen glands (especially in neck and underarms)

• Diarrhea

Other common symptoms of HIV infection that are cropping up later-

• persistently enlarged lymph nodes that are painful and can be treated
• sudden weight loss for no reason at all
• sweating at night with cramps and fever
• Persistent vomiting and diarrhea due to food or digestive problems
• Difficulty in focusing with persistent headaches.
• genital dryness, and frequent sexually transmitted diseases
• Frequent oral, skin and genital infections
• Kaposi's sarcoma and other cancers
• opportunistic infections commonly seen in people
• Neurological symptoms of short-term memory loss, dementia and eventually comas
