Symptoms of a Stroke - Manifestations With Corresponding Actions

What are the symptoms of stroke? A stroke or cerebrovascular accident (CVA), it occurs when blood flow to the brain is disrupted, or insufficient blood flow to the brain causing brain cells to die. When this happens to oxygen and glucose can not be delivered to the brain. And we can compromise blood flow by various reasons. What causes a CVA?

clogged arteries include:

- the narrowing of small arteries in the brain

- hardening of the arteries leading to the brain

- embolism to the brain from the heart

- artery rupture (hemorrhage)

There are different causes of stroke, the first blockage of arteries in the brain by a clot that is the most common cause of stroke. Embolic stroke is the livestock that ca occur when a blood clot in therosclerotic plaque breaks loose and travels through open arteries, and lodges in an artery in the brain. Cerebral hemorrhage occurs when a blood vessel in the brain ruptures and bleeds into surrounding brain tissue, can cause a stroke due to the withdrawal of blood and oxygen to the brain. There are also symptoms of a stroke, when brain cells are deprived of oxygen, cease to perform its usual task. Symptoms depend on f Stokes region of the brain that is affected and the amount of brain tissue, which is a shame.

Small strokes may not cause any symptoms of a stroke but can still damage brain tissue. These moves are called silent strokes. Here are some of the signs and symptoms of stroke:

1 Sudden numbness or weakness of face, arm or leg, especially on one side of the body. Loss of voluntary movement and / or feeling can be either complete or partial. There May also be associated tingling sensation in the affected area.

2 Sudden confusion or trouble speaking or understanding. Sometimes weakness in facial muscles can cause drooling.

3 Sudden problems seen in one or both eyes

4 Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination

5 Sudden, severe headache with no known cause

If any of the signs of stroke appear suddenly mentioned, emergency medical response should be sought. Such a person should lie flat to promote optimal blood flow to the brain. If drowsiness, nausea does not respond or present, that person should be put in a position to rescue his side to prevent choking should vomiting occur. We should be careful in everything we do and what we eat, because these things can affect your whole life, and this can lead to death if not treated. Always consult your physician and general check up to detect if ever you are at risk for the development of any disease. Knowledge about our health is very important to know what a stroke and who have symptoms of stroke are a must to avoid further damage, and ultimately prevent death.
